Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Plumbing Engineer in New Jersey to design plumbing and fire protection systems within sustainable building contexts. You will support domestic water, sanitary/vent, storm, and fire protection layouts while collaborating with clients, architects, and engineers.

You will document engineering analyses, load calculations, and equipment sizing, and you’ll gain experience in Revit MEP modelling, report writing, and presenting findings to diverse audiences as part of a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, architectural, civil, or environmental engineering.
• Coursework in fluid hydraulics/piping/fluid dynamics.
• Interest in built environment and sustainable development.
• Ability to collaborate with clients.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing and fire protection systems with emphasis on sustainable design.
• Support domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm systems planning.
• Assist design of fire protection systems (sprinkler and standpipe).
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants on integrated solutions.
• Undertake engineering analysis including code research, load calculations, and equipment sizing.
