Responsibilities

• Design plumbing and fire protection systems for buildings with a sustainable focus.
• Support design of domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm systems.
• Assist in designing fire protection systems (sprinkler and standpipe).
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and consultants on integrated solutions.
• Undertake and document engineering analyses, including code research, load calculations, and equipment sizing.
• Communicate complex technical ideas to diverse audiences via presentations and workshops.
• Writereports documenting calculation methods, design assumptions and results.
• Prioritize and organize work efficiently in a changing environment.
• Influence design with sustainability outcomes for clients.
• Assist in construction administration activities such as site visits and submittal reviews.

• Design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems within the built environment, with an emphasis on sustainable design
• Support designing plumbing systems such as domestic water, sanitary/vent, and storm systems
• Support designing fire protection systems fire sprinkler and standpipe systems
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings
• Undertaking and documenting engineering analysis work, including code research, load calculations, and equipment sizing, in a clear manner
• Communicate technical ideas to a broad range of audiences using various formats, including presentations and workshops
