Job summary

CVS Health in Milwaukee, WI invites applications for a Graduate Pharmacy Intern. You will apply pharmacy school learnings to real-world practice, work under a licensed pharmacist, and complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store operations and patient safety.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription processing, empathetic patient service, and adherence to SOPs while developing skills for advancing to a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task over a period of time; pivot quickly between tasks.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute days supply and quantities for prescriptions.
