CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern position in our retail pharmacy network. You will apply didactic training from pharmacy school to real-world practice under supervision, completing a structured 120‑day training roadmap to advance toward pharmacist responsibilities.

As you gain tenure, you will take on greater accountability in managing pharmacy operations, patient safety, and compliant dispensing, while supporting immunizations and other services where legally permitted.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure may affect employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Follow SOPs and maintain patient safety and privacy; support immunizations and other services where allowed by law.
• Provide counseling, field medical questions, and gather patient history when appropriate under supervision.
• Handle telephonic prescriptions and clarifications with prescribers as allowed by state regulations.
• Support inventory activities, including cycle counts and returns‑to‑stocks per leadership direction.
• Provide coaching and mentorship to pharmacy staff and contribute to a high‑performing team.
• Travel to stores within the market as needed to support business needs.
