Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to bridge classroom learning with real-world practice in retail pharmacy settings. You will work under a preceptor to complete a 120‑day training roadmap, focusing on patient safety, DUR, and SOP adherence.

As you gain tenure, you’ll support immunizations, prescription processing, and daily pharmacy operations, while developing the skills needed for advancement to a Pharmacist role within the CVS Health network.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines; failure to obtain licensure within 120 days may affect employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in interactions with patients and colleagues.
• Counsel and field medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain high patient safety and privacy standards.
• Support immunizations and other approved pharmacy services where allowed by law.
• Participate in inventory and workflow procedures to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment.
