Job summary

CVS Health is seeking Graduate Pharmacy Interns to support pharmacy teams in our Retail locations. You will apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice, under the guidance of a preceptor and district leaders, as part of a structured 120-day training roadmap.

You will develop patient safety and drug utilization skills, learn SOPs, assist with immunizations and counseling, and gradually assume greater responsibility within the pharmacy team while maintaining

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task and pivot as needed to meet patient and business needs.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patient needs.
• Communication Skills: clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate dispensing requirements and inventory needs.
• Problem Resolution: address challenging patient or colleague interactions with appropriate action.
• Physical Demands: able to lift up to 20 lbs and stay mobile for extended periods.

Education

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program
