Job summary

CVS Health in Honolulu, HI is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. You’ll follow a 120‑day training roadmap, support pharmacy operations, and develop skills that prepare you for a pharmacist role while delivering safe, compassionate patient care.

As you progress, you’ll assist with immunizations, DUR and SOPs, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, empathy, and teamwork within a dynamic CVS Pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus and ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Ability to pivot quickly from one task to another to meet patient and business needs
• Ability to confirm prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: actively help people in a friendly manner
• Notice and understand patients’ reactions, and respond appropriately
• Communication Skills: use and understand verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
