Job summary

CVS Health Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on experience within retail pharmacies, training closely with a preceptor and district leaders to prepare for a Pharmacist role. You will learn SOPs, patient safety, and high-quality patient care while supporting pharmacy operations.

As you progress, you will take on greater responsibilities in store operations, patient interactions, and potential immunization services where allowed by law, under supervision.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentrate on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy and patient safety
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond to patients
