Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to train future pharmacists in a real-world retail setting. You will follow a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap under supervision to deepen your knowledge of store operations, patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

You will learn to balance compassionate patient care with accuracy, SOP adherence, and effective communication while supporting immunizations and other services as allowed by law.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Attend to regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide empathetic customer service and counseling within SOPs and professional standards.
• Contribute to patient safety and error prevention and support immunization and other services where allowed.
