Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern who will apply school learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

You will learn SOPs, patient safety, DUR, and expand clinical knowledge while remaining flexible for store needs and travel across the market as required.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Contribute to patient experiences by providing empathetic, accurate service under supervision.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Learn and apply SOPs, best practices, and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
• Deliver immunizations and other patient health services where allowed by law and training.
