Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice and to prepare for a Pharmacist role under your preceptor and district leader. During a 120-day training roadmap, you will deepen your understanding of patient safety, DUR processes, SOPs, and how to deliver safe, compassionate service.

You’ll learn to collaborate with pharmacists and technicians, support immunizations, and help ensure prescriptions are filled accurately

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Support patient safety by following SOPs and providing compassionate service.
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by counseling and assisting with immunizations when appropriate.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy in prescription processing and communication.
