Job summary

CVS Health in the United States invites graduates to join its Graduate Pharmacy Intern program. You will apply your pharmacy education in real-world store operations under a preceptor, completing a 120-day training roadmap to prepare you for a pharmacist role.

You will support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescriptions, compassionate service, and compliant patient care while learning SOPs and clinical responsibilities. This part-time role may travel within the market as needed.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Demonstrate attention and focus; pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Customer service and team orientation; provide empathetic, patient-centered care
• Communication skills; clear verbal and written interaction with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical reasoning for dispensing calculations
• Problem resolution and escalation as needed
• Physical demands as described for extended shifts and manual tasks
