Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program that trains you to transition from pharmacy school to professional practice within CVS stores. You will follow a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap under a pharmacist preceptor and district leader, focusing on patient safety, DUR, and professional standards.

Your duties include assisting the pharmacy team to ensure accurate prescription fulfillment, supporting immunizations and other pharmacist services as allowed by state

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure that prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and other services where allowed by law and training.
• Maintain highest level of patient safety, SOP compliance, and effective communication.
