Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Pearland, TX is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, under a preceptor and district leader, completing a 120-day training roadmap and growing toward pharmacist responsibilities.

You’ll help with patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and compassionate care while learning through hands-on experience, immunizations, and clinical exposure. This role is part-time with a strong focus on patient service.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within state guidelines after graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality patient care and service in a pharmacy setting.
• Counsel patients and answer medication questions under pharmacist supervision.
• Support pharmacy operations including prescription intake, verification, immunizations and safe medication handling.
