Job summary

CVS Health in the United States is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will complete a comprehensive 120‑day training roadmap focused on store, district, and regional operations, while ensuring patient safety and service quality.

You will assist pharmacists with filling prescriptions, counseling patients, and supporting immunizations and other services, under supervision, as you prepare for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the designated timeframe.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern/technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely and accurately.
• Learn to operate under SOPs with emphasis on patient safety and quality assurance.
• Support immunizations and other patient services as allowed by state law and training.
• Provide empathetic, caring service and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture.
