Job summary

CVS Health’s Graduate Pharmacy Intern program offers hands-on training in a real-world pharmacy setting. Interns work under a preceptor to complete a 120‑day training roadmap, supporting daily operations, patient safety, and service delivery while preparing for a pharmacist role.

You’ll assist with immunizations, patient counseling, and collaborative care while developing clinical and technical skills in a fast paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Attention and Focus: concentration on a task, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure label accuracy and patient safety.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist customers with empathy and work well within the pharmacy team.
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication to interact with patients and colleagues.
