Job summary

CVS Health Corporation in Florida seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice and to become ready for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive 120-day training roadmap spanning store, district, and regional operations.

You will gain experience in patient safety, DUR, SOPs, and compassionate patient care while supporting pharmacy teams to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist pharmacy team and provide caring service.
• Communication Skills: use verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
• Mathematical Reasoning: compute daysupply, dispensing quantities and related calculations.
• Problem Resolution: address patient or colleague issues appropriately.
