Job summary

CVS Health in Florida offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program that blends didactic learning with hands-on practice in our stores. You will work under a preceptor to complete a 120-day training roadmap, supporting the pharmacy team to ensure safe, timely prescription fulfillment and patient care.

You will gain exposure to SOPs, quality assurance, immunizations, and patient counseling while developing skills for a future Pharmacist role, within a collaborative, compliant team across CVS

Qualifications

PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.

Responsibilities

Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends.
Complete required training within designated timeframe.
Attention and focus: concentrate on tasks, pivot quickly between tasks, ensure prescription labeling accuracy.
Customer service and teamwork: assist patients and collaborate with the pharmacy team.
Communication skills: clear verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues.
Mathematical reasoning for dispensing and inventory calculations.
Problem resolution: address patient or colleague issues effectively.
