Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program in our retail pharmacies in the United States. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice under supervision, preparing for a Pharmacist role. The 120-day roadmap expands knowledge of store, district, and regional operations.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, prompt, and accurate prescriptions, while gaining experience in patient care, SOPs, and professional standards in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends.
• Assist pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in patient interactions and support SOPs.
• Support immunizations and other allowed pharmacy services as trained and certified
