Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Perfusion program.
• Certification/License: CCP and Licensed Perfusionist (Texas Medical Board) at time of hire/transfer.
• Education – Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Perfusion program required.
• Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during medical situations requiring support.
• Monitor, examine, and treat physiologic conditions under a physician's order and supervision.
• Choose appropriate equipment and techniques for treatment or support.
• Record perfusion data during surgery and maintain post-operative records.
• Perform quality control and preventive maintenance on equipment; manage inventory.
