Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Consult with physician on equipment and technique choices for procedures
• Set up heart-lung machine for surgeons and operate bypass equipment
• Prepare life support system as directed by cardiac surgery staff
• Conduct bypasses for heart surgeries and liver transplants
• Maintain equipment and perform routine checks

Education

Bachelor's Degree in allied health field, perfusion, or related scientific field
