Jefferson College of Nursing at Thomas Jefferson University invites applications for a full-time graduate faculty position in the Transformative Systems Leadership Program at the Lehigh Valley instructional site.

Faculty responsibilities include teaching graduate nursing students in classroom, simulation, online, and clinical settings, advising, curriculum development, and ongoing program evaluation aligned with accreditation standards.

Qualifications

• Eligible for or currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Pennsylvania.
• CRNP certification preferred.
• Master’s in nursing from an accredited program; doctoral degree preferred or enrollment in a doctoral program.
• Demonstrated teaching experience in an accredited academic nursing program, preferably graduate nursing education.
• Knowledge of teaching and learning strategies, curriculum development, and student evaluation in nursing education.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and clinical partners.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach and evaluate graduate nursing students across classroom, simulation, online, and clinical environments.
• Teach graduate nursing courses across programs, including graduate core and DNP courses.
• Collaborate with faculty colleagues and program leadership in curriculum planning and development of the graduate nursing curriculum.
• Advise and mentor graduate nursing students, supporting academic progression and professional development.
• Participate in program evaluation and continuous quality improvement, including assessment of student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with program leadership and clinical partners to support high-quality clinical learning experiences, including site and preceptor evaluation.
• Contribute to program compliance with accreditation, certification, and regulatory requirements, including program review and reporting.
• Serve on College and University committees and participate in governance and institutional activities.
• Maintain clinical competence and professional engagement in area of specialty practice.
• Engage in scholarly and professional activities consistent with faculty role expectations.
• Support recruitment and outreach activities of the College.
• Perform responsibilities in alignment with the mission, core values, and academic standards of the College of Nursing and Thomas Jefferson University.
• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff consistent with the Enterprise core values.
