Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for 36 hours per week. The role is in the 4E Neuro department with 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm - 7:30am). We offer sign-on incentives up to $10,000 and bridging programs to support BSN/MSN advancement.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds, stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
