Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital in the St. Louis region is seeking a New Graduate Nurse for graduates between January 2027 and May 2027 who hold an ADN, BSN, or MSN and are entering their first RN role.

You will connect with the Graduate Nurse recruitment team to navigate the Staff Nurse application process and select units of interest on the application. Once hired, you will work in several nursing specialties such as Critical Care, Emergency, Labor & Delivery, and more, with access to Nurse Residency

Qualifications

• Nursing diploma or associate degree required.
• Must obtain Missouri RN licensure within 90 days of graduation.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury and post-treatment home care.
• Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial and emotional needs using critical thinking.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans during the stay.
• Contributes to patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development.
