Job summary

Geisinger is pleased to offer a Graduate Inpatient RN opportunity with a $21k hiring incentive and a minimum rate of $40.55 per hour, with enhanced rates for experience and shift differentials. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and a Nurse Residency Program is provided during the first year.

Graduate Nurses may be placed in multiple units at Geisinger Community Medical Center, including ICU, ED, OR, and more, with a structured orientation and residency to support

Qualifications

• Delivery of patient care through the nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate and provide patient teaching with family involvement.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to address patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate plan of care with patient, family and the care team, including discharge planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to proactively address patient needs.
• Direct and adjust assignments based on patient acuity and staffing.
