Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced RN for the Neuro ICU to provide critical care to patients with neurological conditions, under the Allegheny Health Network.

The role is full-time, with 72-hour every-two-week schedule, rotating weekends and holidays per policy; union represented.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, perform nursing assessments, care planning, and family education while maintaining regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current State of PA RN licensure (or multi-state via eNLC).
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.

THE UNIT

The Allegheny General Neuro ICU is a specialized 22-bed intensive care unit dedicated to the care of critically ill patients with neurological conditions. The unit provides comprehensive, advanced care for patients experiencing a wide range of complex neurological diagnoses, including aneurysm, brain tumors, head bleeds, strokes, Level I acute strokes, and brain cases of unknown origin.

GENERAL OVERVIEW

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR
• Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
• CPR certification
