Athena Health Care Systems’ Worcester Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring graduate nurses who are ready to begin their nursing career. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, you’ll start providing care to residents while you wait to take your NCLEX.

Shifts include 7a-3p, 3p-11p, and 11p-7a with weekly pay. Must have graduated from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing program within one year of hire for LPN or RN.

Formación

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff, residents and families.
• Knowledge of nursing practice, regulations, and long-term care guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Meet nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
• Maintain resident care plans and follow physician orders.
• Transcribe orders accurately and document nursing notes.
• Administer medications and ensure drug security.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety procedures.
