Job summary

Cape Heritage Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Sandwich, MA seeks a Graduate Nurse to provide compassionate care under supervision while awaiting NCLEX licensure results. The role supports residents with daily nursing needs and care plans across a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include documenting nursing notes, following physician orders, and daily resident evaluations. Eligibility requires MA board-approved program within one year, graduation documentation, and NCLEX scheduling

Qualifications

• Graduated from a Massachusetts board-approved nursing program within one year of hire.
• Documentation of graduation date must be provided.
• Proof of scheduled NCLEX licensure within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, staff, families, visitors, and the public.

Responsibilities

• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each resident
• Maintain current resident care plans on all residents under your care
• Follow physician's orders and render complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician orders
• Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
• Visit each resident daily to evaluate resident needs
• Maintain accurate awareness of residents on alert list
