Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center in Enola, PA is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse (0.90 FTE) to join a caring team. Hours are 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a $5.00/hour night differential.

The role applies the nursing process to deliver patient-centered care and to address developmental and psychosocial needs of patients in a dynamic hospital setting. Minimum qualifications include RN licensure, BLS prior to orientation end, and ACLS within 6 months of hire.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. Provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• Graduate Nurse with a Temporary Practice Permit or currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
• AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
• ACLS required on within 6 months of hire
