Job summary

Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, PA, invites new Graduate Nurses (GNs) to join a 12-month program with three phases: clinical competence, culture transition, and leadership development. You will receive paid participation throughout the program, flexible self-paced learning, and dedicated preceptor support to help you manage patient assignments and develop leadership skills.

We offer exposure to patient safety, healthcare operations, and change management, plus a Capstone project

Qualifications

• Current state RN license or PA Temporary Practice Permit.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive patient assessments, identifies needs and initiates appropriate interventions.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and team members to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Demonstrates adaptability and resilience while managing time and prioritizing patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Shows curiosity and willingness to learn by seeking feedback and expanding clinical knowledge.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current state RN license or PA Temporary Practice Permit. Possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.
