Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Medicine Acute unit. Under supervision, you will provide nursing care and apply the nursing process to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.

The role requires completing an approved nursing program, NCLEX, and TN compact licensure within 90 days. You will work closely with the care team to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Completion of the course requirements for graduation from an Associate’s Degree, Diploma or Bachelor of Science program in nursing.
• Qualified to work with a wide age range as assigned (neonate to geriatric) per specialty.
• Must take the NCLEX Upon Hire.
• RN licensure in TN or a compact state; licensure within 90 days.
• Experience in patient care obtained via an approved nursing program.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to the medical regime and nursing plan for patient conditions.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with policies and safety.
• Perform duties specific to the clinical area, excluding administration of medications, IVs and blood products.
• Educate patients using established outlines and evaluation of progress.
• Document assessments and clinical judgments; maintain accurate records.
