Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh is seeking a compassionate RN for the 5C Medicine Telemetry unit. This full-time role involves a 72-hour schedule every two weeks with rotating weekends and holidays, and features a fast-paced environment caring for a diverse patient population.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge, assess learning needs, educate patients and families, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering

Qualifications

• RN licensure in PA or eNLC is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Act 34/33/73 clearances and FBI fingerprinting are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment and care planning skills.
• Provides safe, effective care for the adult population served.
• Directs and manages the patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team from admission through discharge.
• Educates patient and family based on age, culture, and learning needs.
