Job Summary: The GME Coordinator performs work independently with assignments from the Program Manager. This role will directly support resident financial reimbursement processing, resident onboarding, coordinating faculty call and attending schedules, and resident evaluations. This role will be an active participant in the resident the recruitment process, including attendance at recruitment fairs and participating in applicant interviews. This position coordinates and contributes to the development and implementation of the administrative activities of the residency program as outlined in the accreditation program requirements and other regulatory agencies. The GME Coordinator must utilize fundamental knowledge of these requirements to manage workflow components of the administrative and professional responsibilities for the program's residents. This position will serve as a liaison between the Program Manager, Program Director, residents/fellows, program faculty, institutional Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, and affiliated teaching sites concerning program matters. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Must provide a valid driver's license. Employees may use their own transportation or receive approval for University Car Fleet usage. The starting salary for the position is $65,000 annually, but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
