Health Professions Education Coordinator
The Department of Medicine (DOM) is seeking a Health Professions Education Coordinator to join its Education Services team. This position plays a key role in supporting undergraduate medical education by coordinating clinical learning experiences, educational programming, and student-focused initiatives that contribute to the development of future physicians.
Reporting to the Medical Student Academic Program Manager, the Coordinator partners closely with faculty, staff, and education leadership to support the delivery of required medical school curriculum within the Department of Medicine. Responsibilities include coordinating clinical rotations and educational activities, recruiting and supporting faculty preceptors, managing program logistics, and ensuring a high-quality learning experience for medical students.
The Coordinator serves as a primary resource for students and faculty, providing operational support for educational initiatives while fostering a learner-centered environment. This role also contributes to the continuous improvement of educational programs through process enhancement, data management, reporting, and the use of technology to support curriculum delivery.
This position interacts regularly with medical students, faculty, trainees, and staff across the Department of Medicine and the School of Medicine and Public Health. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed, with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. The Department of Medicine Education Services team supports a comprehensive portfolio of undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education programs. Our team partners with faculty leaders and staff across the department and institution to design and deliver high-quality educational experiences, ensure compliance with accreditation standards, and advance innovative approaches to medical training. Through collaborative leadership and operational excellence, we help prepare the next generation of physicians.
The starting salary for the position is $70,000 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; focus in health care administration, education administration, public health, or related field preferred
