Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Graduate Engineer to support our MEP team. The role targets graduates graduating in December 2026 or May 2027 with a focus on HVAC concepts and energy modeling under supervision.

The candidate will perform basic calculations, equipment layout, and collaborate with senior staff to develop design solutions. This is an on-site opportunity with a path toward PE licensure.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering (or Architecture/Engineering).
• Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1 is required.
• Three+ years of HVAC and energy modeling experience.
• Experience using Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD for production.
• Ability to obtain PE license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and internal contacts.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners.
