Job summary

Halff is seeking a Mechanical Graduate Engineer to support our MEP team in Texas. The role focuses on basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems, with collaboration across engineers, architects, and owners.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), have knowledge of IMC/ASHRAE 90.1, and familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD; PE licensure is a plus. Graduates in 2026 or 2027 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering.
• Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1
• Three + years of HVAC and energy modeling
• Experience in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP
• Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD production experience
• Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus

Responsibilities

• Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems
• Build strong working relationships with both clients and internal contacts with other Halff offices
• Collaborate effectively with other engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners
