Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 to join our Mechanical Graduate Engineer program supporting the MEP team. The role emphasizes basic HVAC design, system layouts, and collaboration with project stakeholders while building proficiency under senior staff.

The ideal candidate will have HVAC knowledge, energy modeling experience, and a strong foundation in BIM/CAD tools, with PE licensure as a plus for career growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture/Engineering.
• Working knowledge of IMC and ASHRAE 90.1.
• Three+ years of HVAC and energy modeling.
• Experience in Trane Trace 700 or Carrier HAP.
• Revit (BIM) and AutoCAD production experience.
• Ability to obtain the Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Basic design and layout of HVAC air and hydronic systems.
• Build strong working relationships with clients and internal contacts.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project stakeholders including owners.
