Job summary

Buro Happold is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer in Washington, DC to work on innovative HVAC building services design, using Revit and AutoCAD, with a focus on sustainability. You will contribute to calculations, drawings, and reports while collaborating with senior engineers across disciplines.

The role supports learning in a multidisciplinary environment, with hybrid working hours and opportunities for professional development within a globally connected practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or related field.
• Coursework in HVAC design, heat transfer, thermodynamics and fluid hydraulics/dynamics.
• Familiarity with BIM modelling software (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of HVAC load modelling software is a plus.
• Internship experience at engineering-related firm preferred; interest in built environment.
• Strong communication of ideas to diverse teams.
