Job summary

Arup seeks a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC services for diverse built environments and to work with clients, architects and engineers on integrated, sustainable solutions.

The role focuses on energy analysis, 3D modelling, and documentation in Revit MEP, with opportunities to develop computational skills and contribute to high‑performance building systems across healthcare, commercial properties, and data centers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Architectural, Civil or Environmental Eng.
• Passed Fundamentals of Engineering examination; Membership in ASHRAE, USGBC, ASME.
• Coursework in Energy/thermal modeling experience, Revit or 3D modeling experience and/or sustainability.
• Advanced computational modeling (e.g., CFD).
• Computer programming languages (e.g., Dynamo, Python, Grasshopper).
• AutoCAD or Revit drafting skills preferred.
• Internship experience in engineering-related firm preferred

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC services within the built environment with emphasis on sustainable design.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers and consultants to develop integrated solutions for complex buildings.
• Perform engineering analysis and modelling including whole building load calculations and energy analysis.
• Document system design in Revit MEP; communicate technical ideas to varied audiences.
