Job summary

You will collaborate across disciplines, iterate designs, and drive robust design-for-manufacturing with a focus on reliability and producibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering or STEM discipline.
• Experience with CAD or FEA software packages (academic, internship, or professional).
• Graduating with a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in 2027.

Responsibilities

• Own hardware from conceptual design through volume production and on-orbit operations.
• Develop design criteria, collaborate on requirements, and drive system-level optimization.
• Rapidly iterate on designs to inform system trades and product direction.
• Drive DFM to reduce part count and ensure quality across fabrication and integration.
• Establish an efficient product lifecycle from supply chain to final integration.
