Job summary

Secure Base Counseling Center in Minnesota seeks a Graduate Level Clinical Intern (LPCC or LMFT track) to carry a caseload in our outpatient clinics and learn to write diagnostic assessments and treatment plans under supervision.

This part-time position offers flexible scheduling at Farmington, Northfield or New Prague, MN. SBCC provides weekly supervision, paid group supervision, free professional development, and opportunities for advancement after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of therapy clients in one of our outpatient clinics.
• Learn how to write diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards.
• Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship.
• Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens.

Logistics:

• Position : Graduate Level Clinical Intern
• Location : Farmington, Northfield or New Prague, MN
• Type : Part-time (flexible scheduling but some after school or evening hours required)
• Compensation: $2500 stipend per semester available
• Learn from other therapists through shadowing opportunities
• Carry a caseload of therapy clients in one of our outpatient clinics
• Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds
• Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens
• Learn how to write diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards
• Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship
