Job summary

Secure Base Counseling Center in Minnesota is seeking a graduate-level clinical intern to support CTSS/ARMHS services. You will learn from experienced therapists, shadow opportunities, and carry a small caseload in clients' homes and communities.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a master's program in Counseling.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to client-centered care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work at multiple locations throughout the week as dictated by client needs.
• Has reliable vehicle and preferably able to transport clients.

Responsibilities

• Learn from other therapists and mental health practitioners through shadowing opportunities.
• Carry a caseload of CTSS/ARMHS clients providing services in the client’s home and in the community.
• Learn how to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Provide systemic, trauma-informed care through an attachment lens.
• Learn how to write functional assessment, MHIS forms, treatment plans, and progress notes that meet DHS standards.
• Grow professionally through a supportive, reflective supervisor relationship.
