Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate Jeweler (GJ) or Graduate Jeweler Gemologist (GJG) diploma preferred.
• Minimum three years of related jewelry industry experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree plus five years related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students in the On-Campus Graduate Jeweler Program using varied tools and equipment.
• Impart course material consistent with GIA standards and integrity.
• Address student concerns and coordinate with Education staff as needed.
• Coach students on academic performance and improvement strategies.
• Proctor tests, grade submissions, and manage assignments per schedule.
• Maintain a respectful, diverse classroom environment.
