Qualifications

• Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited school required.
• Engineer-in-Training certification in the State of Texas preferred or the ability to obtain within one year of date of employment.
• Three (3) years of relevant experience preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license within the applicable jurisdiction and meet company’s auto insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical investigations and studies within the specified budget and under supervision.
• Coordinate field drilling, data collection in the field, lab testing assignments, and data interpretation.
• Prepare and submit draft geotechnical reports for review and final co-signature by a licensed professional engineer.
• Assist in project management, invoicing, and marketing activities as needed.
• Develop understanding of applicable standards and construction documents under guidance of senior staff.
