Job summary

San Jacinto River Authority seeks a Graduate Engineer or newly licensed professional to assist with engineering and non-engineering tasks supporting SJRA's mission. You will gather data, perform analyses related to raw, potable, and wastewater systems, and coordinate with internal and external teams.

Under supervision, you'll contribute to project scope, cost estimates, and reports, using software like Procore and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training certification in TX or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.
• At least 3 years of engineering experience related to water and sewer utilities; Master’s substitutes 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Performs data collection and routine technical work to support SJRA divisions.
• Collects, analyzes data, and assists with design development and technical reports.
• Supports engineering services during construction and prepares exhibits/drawings.
