Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an engineering curriculum approved by the State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers or an engineering-related degree with eligibility to take the FE exam.
• Possible possession of a valid Engineering-in-Training certificate.
• Alternative pathways include graduation from an engineering or related science curriculum and passing the FE exam within Board rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead a water quality team including residual mapping and system flushing.
• Oversee regulatory compliance activities with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
• Manage water line disinfection programs for new and repaired lines.
• Utilize and enhance Drinking Water Operations GIS systems.
