Qualifications

• M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture with a focus on building enclosures required.
• EIT or Architectural Intern certification preferred.
• Genuine interest in building enclosure design and high-performance buildings.

Responsibilities

• Investigate service life of building enclosure assemblies.
• Assess enclosure systems and design repairs for them.
• Perform enclosure review for air infiltration, rain water control, and thermal energy transfer.
• Conduct field investigations, including non-destructive testing.

Skills

Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT)

Computer Aided Drafting/Design (AUTOCAD, REVIT, Rhino, Grasshopper)

Building performance modeling software experience (ECOTECT, ENERGYPLUS, etc.)

Familiarity with exterior wall systems

Familiarity with roofing assemblies

Familiarity with building structural systems

Experience with working on suspended scaffolding and vertical heights

Education
