Qualifications
M.S. in Architectural Engineering or Architecture in Building Science/Building Enclosures/Historic Preservation required.
Engineer in Training (EIT) or Architectural Intern track.
Interest in building enclosure design and repair is a plus.
Responsibilities
Investigate and determine service life of building enclosure assemblies.
Assess enclosure systems and design repairs for existing systems.
Perform building performance analysis including daylighting and thermal analysis.
Interact with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors.
Building performance modeling software (ECOTECT, VASARI, ENERGYPLUS)
Familiarity with exterior wall systems
Familiarity with roofing assemblies
Familiarity with building structural systems
Experience with working on suspended scaffolding
