Job summary
Radiant is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Engineer in El Segundo, CA, to join a startup building portable nuclear microreactors. You will design, model, and analyze electrical systems, support testing and troubleshooting, and collaborate with mechanical, software, and nuclear teams to ensure safety and reliability.
Ideal candidates are graduating in late 2026 or 2027 with foundational knowledge in circuit design and power/control systems, plus experience with MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Graduating in December 2026 or Spring 2027.
- Foundational knowledge of circuit design, power systems, or control systems.
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, SPICE, or CAD software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, modeling, and analysis of electrical systems and components.
- Support testing, validation, and troubleshooting of hardware and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure system reliability and safety.
- Contribute to documentation, schematics, and technical reports.
- Participate in lab and prototyping work as needed.
