Job summary

Arup in San Francisco is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Available 2027) to help design power distribution and lighting systems for buildings and infrastructure. You will perform short circuit studies, lighting calculations with AGI, and contribute to electrical reports as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects and other engineers, with opportunities to learn Revit MEP and SKM on real projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting and lighting controls for buildings and infrastructure.
• Perform short circuit, overcurrent coordination, load and arc flash studies.
• Create lighting photometric calculations using AGI.
• Assign circuitry for Power and Lighting devices and contribute to technical reports.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and vendors to gain knowledge on new subjects.
